Duvet vs. Comforter

  • Style: Duvet covers offer easy style changes

Weighted Blanket Sizes

Weighted blankets provide therapeutic pressure and come in specific sizes based on user weight and bed size.

Wool Heavy Winter Insulating, moisture-wicking, durable

How to size blankets

Measure the surface, then the overhang

Blanket sizing: throw 50″×60″, twin 66″×90″, full/queen 90″×90″, king 108″×90″. Comforters and duvets are larger than blankets of the same nominal size; size up if you want to layer.

Standard sizes vs. your actual surface

Manufactured "standard" sizes assume textbook measurements. Older homes, custom furniture, and non-standard windows often deviate by 1–3″. If the measurement falls between two stock sizes, choose the larger; it's easier to hem or tuck excess fabric than to add length you don't have.

Mounting and clearance

Wool, cotton, and natural fiber blankets shrink 3–5% on first wash. Buy a half-step larger if you launder hot. Polar fleece and synthetic blends hold their dimensions.
